Overview

The monitoring owners will face the following challenges on the medium- and small-scale security monitoring market for the general industry.

The heterogeneous devices are diversified (e.g. DVR, DVS and IPC from different manufacturers) and the customization requirements of users are very different (e.g. alarm system networking, bayonet control system integration and GIS electronic map integration) on the open security monitoring market. How can we meet these requirements and reduce investment of owners?

How can we make the video images more clear, make the video contents more intelligent, connect different new digital devices in the full-digital age, realize uniform resources, number, privilege and management, and realize gradual transition from the traditional monitoring pattern of “after-accident evidence collection” to new management pattern of “in-accident management and before-accident prevention”?

With the growing of the monitoring objects, type and quantity of the monitoring front-end devices to connect is increasing too, which brings new challenge for the monitoring system. How can we perfectly integrate different front-end heterogeneous devices, manage independent monitoring resources properly, make the integrated monitoring system collaborate on one central and uniform management platform, and provide satisfactory services to owners?

The NVR networking monitoring solution can better solve the above problems according to the market requirements. NVR of NetPosa introduces the extensively applied “middleware” concept and develops out “video middleware”, so the developers can flexibly and efficiently integrate different digital devices and ensure stability of the whole monitoring system. The management platform will manage NVR via a network, guarantee distributed autonomy of different NVR, and realize comprehensive management of the integrated monitoring system.

Structural design

1. The system is designed as the distributed storage mode. The video resources of the monitoring front terminals are stored at the NVR at different nodes locally. The networking monitoring platform does not store the videos.

2. The video monitoring nodes include different NVR system, including hybrid access NVR, pure digital NVR and storage NVR.

3. The pure digital NVR monitoring front end can connect different network cameras and manage heterogeneous DVR system and can directly realize local output and display. The hybrid NVR monitoring front end can connect different analog cameras and network cameras, manage heterogeneous DVR systems and support local output display. The storage NVR monitoring front end can connect different network cameras and manage heterogeneous DVR systems and will not locally store videos.

4. The NVR of the monitoring center is responsible for monitoring system networking, user authentication, configuration management and forwarding, retrieval and query of the video stream.

● Powerful system compatibility capability:

The system platform can be compatible to different DVR, DVS, IPC and NVR from most mainstream manufacturers and support platform-platform interconnection in an international, industry standard and local standard manner.

● Intelligent management of bandwidth and privilege:

● The system/platform can provide intelligent bandwidth management mode for owners, fully utilize the trunk resources via an efficient mechanism, and improve the utilization rate of the network bandwidth. The system/platform provides intelligent privilege management. The high-level customers can seize low-level videos or other resources.

● Second-level video playback:

The specific file storage system of the system can store videos by frames, can effectively reduce the video fragments, extremely improve storage efficiency, improve the data reading speed of the harddisk to the most extent, and protect the harddisk life to the most extent.

System functions

1. Video networking management

Single NVR composes a system. Several NVR systems can be managed via one integrated management platform. The authorized system users can operate and control cameras and storage devices on other monitoring nodes via one monitoring nodes or monitoring center.

2. Real-time video viewing

A user can set automated video patrol inspection time and monitoring area. The system will continuously and automatically inspect the set area within the regulated time and can control pan/tile or dome at any time, and realize random, automated operation and control of the video images.

3. Recorded video playback

The system supports multiple playback operations, snapshots history videos, and stores it as frequent jpeg or bmp images.

4. Distribution of video code streams

The system supports to distribute one video to multiple users. Multiple users can simultaneously operate the system. The system provides a perfect privilege management mechanism and the users with higher priority can seize the resources and view videos.

5. Operations on monitoring keyboard

The system can support to connect the monitoring keyboard from multiple manufacturers via the serial port, operate display and control of video images via the keyboard, and establish one or multiple virtual keyboards on PC. The operations are similar to actual keyboard.

6. Multi-level alarm cascading:

6.1 The NVR can connect different standard alarm detectors, including infrared opposite emission, double-authentication detection, smoke sensing and glass break, and support to connect different alarm boxes and hosts.

6.2 The remote alarm and linked control can detect multi-channel alarm signals. When an alarm occurs, the system will automatically enable corresponding linking devices, switch the videos to the corresponding cameras, trigger automatic recording, and send alarms to the monitoring center via the network. The client will pop up the alarm messages.

6.3 The system supports to set the alarm parameters and type and serial port of alarm box. The client will display the alarm input/output, motion detection, and details on missing video loss and can set the alarm display sequence.
